about anna

behind wild being is anna - a queer being with a longing to explore what it means to be human in these times through listening to and connecting with ourselves, eachother and the more-than-human.

through these encounters I learn so much about belonging and being human in this world, and it makes me come more into my own fullness, wholeness and interconnectedness.

I am trained in anthropology, outdoor education (friluftsliv), nature-based rites of passage (School of Lost Borders), Ways of Council (circle work), and has worked for School of All Relations and Kaospilots. mostly though, I have my learnings from experiences of love and loss and connection and disconnection and from engaging deeply with communities, relationships and the natural world.

my places

building relations to the places I dwell and work in and the beings of those places is an ongoing practice of mine, and my work would not exist without them. the sea has always been my big love, my home and my mentor. I have moved a lot around in my life and am deeply grateful for the rivers, mountains, deserts, seas, forests and rocky islands of different parts of the world that have shaped my own inner landscape. the last few years I have turned my curiosity towards the meadows, coastlines, burial mounds and small forests of Denmark where I grew up and live. it is an ongoing journey of finding the wild in the small, and it seems to be doing me good.

my practices

i hold spaces for people to connect to the wild within us as well as around us. this involves practices of deep listening and sharing of what moves us. it involves wanders to encounter the living world and invitations to live as if the world is alive and communicating to us.

often there are invitations to slow down, but also to be spontaneous, take risks and let the wild being in us be in charge and surprise us.

there will usually be time with ourselves and our encounters with the animate world, and always a return to the human community, to weave our stories together, to see and be seen - in our interconnectedness, in our strengths and in our vulnerabilities.

my work is to facilitate space for you to find guidance in the collaboration between your own inner voice and the voices of the living world

in my offerings you can see the different formats this take - from an evening around a fire to a five day immersion of what wants to unfold in your life

my people

my work is deeply shaped and inspired by people who have held space for me, sat in circle with me, shared their gifts, passion and love of the world with me. i am deeply grateful for that and for those who continously guide me, co-create with me, inspire me and love me.

"the facilitation / spaceholding felt so inclusive and with a beautiful balance between firm and adaptive. I felt safe. being reminded that no specific land of experiences was right or wrong was important for me to hear."
